Shayli Vere is a Canadian paper artisan, photographer and digital multimedia artist. A recipient of numerous art, photography, film, and paper grants, she explores creativity on many levels. Vere is recognized as a senior-level photographic and media artist.

These images are from two collections "The Humanist Spirit" and "See." The See collection (lower 4) was photographed completely underwater, manipulated in-computer, put back onto 35 mm negs, then printed with Liquid Light on Shayli's handmade papers.

An exhibition that Shayli is currently working on is "Identity Phase 4:The Invisible Moments," a grant to capture camera-created 360 degree panoramas. They will be mixed with artistic printing to make large Liquid Light prints on canvas that will be painted with oils. Show opens at Vere Studio & Gallery on Prince Edward Island Aug 21st, 2008.
